Denmark Update 1 -
Mitch and Misha have competed in their first round of competition with great success. They began this morning with the grading round of Latin competition. In the grading round ALL of the latin men compete in three dances Samba, Cha Cha, and Rumba. It is the job of the adjudicators to separate the couples into four different skill levels.
Judges grade the couples and decide who should dance in the "A" , "B", "C', "D", and "E" levels. The "A" level is equivalent to the Professional or Open level. "B" is a gold level, "C" Silver, and "D" Bronze.
Mitch & Misha along with another thirty or so couples all scored high enough to qualify for the "A" level of competition. There are enough couples in this level that they are now waiting to dance in the quarter final round of the "A" L:Latin.
